In November we participated in the financing series of Brazilian healthtech ISA, which raised approximately US$ 6 million (in addition to the US$ 11 million that the startup had already raised in the previous round in August).

ISA was launched by the Pares family in 2017 with the aim of bringing quality care to users’ homes and, at the same time, obtaining better prices through an asset-light model that reduces non-clinical costs, such as hotel and real estate, generating savings of up to 50% compared to traditional laboratories or clinics.

In addition to this capital injection, the company acquired Saúde C, a home healthcare startup. Both companies have many synergies that will enable the healthtech to broaden its portfolio of services and expand its operations to other cities in Brazil.

ISA will contribute to reducing the number of hospital stays and thus speed up recovery times, relieving part of the burden on the healthcare system.
